QuikTrip draws up plans for Johnstown store
JOHNSTOWN — As part of its large and growing portfolio of QuikTrip locations in Northern Colorado, the company has added a location in Johnstown.
The new convenience store and gas station will be located in the growing area off of Colorado Highway 402, on the I-25 Frontage Road.
QuikTrip has several locations in Northern Colorado, and is under construction at the northwest corner of South Main Street and West Bromley Lane in Brighton. Stores in Evans, Frederick, Greeley, Lochbuie, Mead and Westminster have opened in the last couple of years.
In late 2024, BizWest reported that several QuikTrip stores are planned throughout Northern Colorado. According to QuikTrip spokesperson Aisha Jefferson, QuikTrip at that point had eight stores under construction in Colorado, and the company plans to “open eight to ten stores annually as part of our strategic expansion in Colorado.”
The Johnstown store is still in the review process, but it is planned to be a 5,000-square-foot store on a 2-acre lot.
