A new housing development, referred to in Longmont planning documents as Longmont Gateway North — West Project, is envisioned for roughly 50 acres split about evenly between the northeast and northwest corners of the intersection of Colorado Highway 66 and U.S. Highway 287 near the Front Range Christian Fellowship church.

Housing project planned in north Longmont

A local developer has applied for annexation of a swath of unincorporated Boulder County land just north of Longmont city limits in the hopes that the parcel could be combined with an adjacent, already annexed site and developed into a mostly residential community.
