Greeley’s UC Health Hospital is poised to expand a second time in its six-year history. This time, officials are planning to expand the hospital’s emergency department. Two years ago, the hospital reported its emergency department was seeing an average of 100 patients per day, up from 60 per day when the hospital first opened in 2019. Today, that department is set for a 6,000-square-foot expansion, which also will require a new patient drop-off.
