Boulder Housing Partners purchased the 4.75-acre site at 3300 Penrose Place for redevelopment into an affordable-housing community. The site adjacent to Foothills Parkway and 34th Street includes a 28,000-square-foot building that serves as the headquarters of the Geological Society of America is planned for redevelopment. Boulder Housing Partners plans to build 113 affordable apartments at the site to be rented to those earning 60% or less of the Boulder area median income. on Facebook on LinkedIn
