March 7, 2025 Submit an Update
University Schools is planning a 4,200-square-foot addition to its existing elementary and high school building at 6525 W. 18th Street in west Greeley. Construction on the addition is expected to last four months and be complete by the end of 2025.  The extra space, the third addition to the school in the last three years, will function as a flex space for elementary lunch, PE, and other activities as needed. Having spent more than a century at the University of Northern Colorado campus as a lab school to prepare teachers, University Schools opened as a public charter school in the fall of 2002, when Greeley’s Roche family donated the land on which to build. on Facebook on LinkedIn on Bluesky
