Greeley ag products producer plans site expansion
GREELEY — An agricultural products company in northwest Greeley plans to add close to 3,000 square feet of warehouse and employee space onto its site.
Loveland Products is a brand of agricultural solutions owned by Nutrien Ag Solutions, with a headquarters in Loveland. The company manufactures more than 400 products, such as plant nutrition, seed treatments, crop protection, and adjuvants, according to its website.
The company’s site is located at 14520 Weld County Road 64 (O Street), just southwest of 84 Lumber on 59th Avenue.
In plans filed with the City of Greeley, Loveland Products has sketched out a new area for employees and an extra storage warehouse on a site that has five buildings: a manufacturing building, an office building, equipment storage and two storage warehouses. The last time the company added to the property was in 1995 with a 500 square-foot storage shed. The company started business on the lot in 1986.
One of the new buildings would be 1,442 square feet, and the other would be 1,416 square feet, if approved by the City of Greeley.
According to plans filed with the city, “The project will consist of two building additions along with some additional parking and pedestrian area. … The purpose of the project is to provide additional workspace for employees, modernize portions of the facility, enhance the building’s exterior appearance, and improve the overall functionality and aesthetics of the site.”
Parent company Nutrien Ltd. is a global Fortune 500 company based in Canada.
