Woods Market is Johnstown’s newest market in the Ledge Rock development. The grand opening was set for March 19, 2025. Don and Bertha Woods started the company in 1947 in Long Lane, Missouri. In addition to the 10 supermarkets it owns there, it also has four convenience stores. Company president Jeff Woods said in a statement: “Colorado is a vibrant and growing part of America, combining natural beauty with a diversified and sustainable economic base. When we were approached with the opportunity to partner with Carson Development and Johnstown, we were excited to work with such a quality team to deliver this project.” The company planned to hire about 150 workers to staff the store. on Facebook on LinkedIn on Bluesky
