A Weld County couple plans to turn their rural property into a dog kennel that will hold up to 56 dogs and five other household animals on a 3-acre property northwest of Johnstown.
Another 300+ homes are planned for Johnstown along the Little Thompson River a mile south of downtown.
Johnstown officials recently held a groundbreaking for the town’s new 9,000-square-foot development services building, which is set for the northeast corner of Centennial Drive and Castle Pines Avenue.
Crowne at 2534 will include 285 units, with amenities including energy-efficient washers and dryers, electric-vehicle chargers, garages, controlled building access, bike storage, elevators and a media lounge.
